Marjorie Moore

Marjorie Cunningham Moore, of Frederick, MD, formerly of Derwood, MD, died Sept. 22, 2003. She was born Dec. 18, 1931, a daughter of the late David and Grace Nutter Cunningham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by:her brother, David S. Cunningham, Jr. Surviving are her husband, David C. Moore; 3 sons, Stephen Craig, Brian Kincaid and Matthew David Moore; 1 daughter, Martha Ann Moore; 8 grandchildren, Joshua, Lauren, Evan, Gregory, Robert, Josephine, Anne Marie and Brian; and daughters-in-law, Susan Biggs Moore and Elizabeth Anne Moore. She was active in the Rockville, MD, Presbyterian Church, serving as an Elder, a Deacon, Chair of the Worship Committee and Wedding Coordinator; she also was a founder and Board Chair of Rainbow Place Shelter for Homeless Women. Trained as a physical therapist, she worked at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville. A Memorial Service was held at Rockville, MD, Presbyterian Church. A Graveside Commital Service will be held at Cadiz Union Cemetery on April 17, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. William Hudson officiating. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Rockville Presbyterian Church or Rainbow Place Shelter for Homeless Women, both at 215 W. Montgomery Ave., Rockville, MD 20850.
