Marion Crawshaw, 83, of Cadiz, formerly of Dover and New Philadelphia, died peacefully after an extended illnes, Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz, Ohio. She was born January 23, 1924 in Dover, Ohio a daughter of the late Albert and Cora Monk Hawk. She was preceded in death by 6 sisters: Verna, Beryl, Juanita, Arlene, Catherine, and Jane. Marion was a member of the Scott United Methodist Church in Cadiz where she was an active member for many years, especially in the Mary Ruth Circle. She was an avid crotchetier and quilter. She is survived by her husband of 64 years. George H. ''Bud'' Crawshaw; 6 children: Beverly Hensley of New Philadelphia, Rebecca Baker of Shadyside, Tom (Judy) of Stone Mountain, Georgia, Curt (Judy) of Cadiz, Melissa of Moorisville, North Carolina and Linda (Glen) Niemeier of Bellbrook, Ohio; 10 grandchildren: Steven, Bryan, and Curtis Crawshaw of Georgia, Eric and Mindi Baker of Shadyside, Tyler Hensley of Columbus, Courtney and Thomas Crawshaw of Cadiz, Jacob and Shane Niemeier of Bellbrook; and 6 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 8, 2-4 and 7-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio. Funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Scott United Methodist Church, 817 East Market Street, Cadiz with Rev. Richard Hasley officiating. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Scott United Methodist Church, 817 East Market Street, Cadiz, Ohio 43907. The memorial guestbook may be signed at www.clark-kirkland.com.
