Marilyn M. Kellar, 78, of Cadiz, died Sunday at Bowerston Pointe Health Care Center, Bowerston. She was born May 16, 1930 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a daughter of the late Clarence and Helen Wells Hursey. She was a retired employee of Coultrapâ�™s Store, near Cadiz. She attended church at Bowerston Pointe, and enjoyed playing Bingo, crocheting, crafts and gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orion D. â�œFatsâ Kellar in 1969, a daughter, Dorothy Millken; two brothers, Robert and Alan Hursey; and her companion, Gale Tipton. Surviving are six daughters, Mary Briggs of Lafferty, Diane Kish of Jacksonville, FL, Joyce Allen of Jewett, Iva Yoho of Cadiz, Freda Brown of New Philadelphia, and Faye Tonkovich of Adena; and adopted daughter, Diane Palmer of Tippecanoe; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two brothers, Don Hursey of Alabama and Ray Hursey of Scio; and a sister, Shirley Berard of Bergholz. Friends may call Tuesday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. with Fred Blackman officiating.
