Marilyn Alexander

Marilyn S. Knight Alexander, 77, of Cadiz, died Friday, December 4, 2015 at Trinity Medical Center, West in Steubenville. She was born June 22, 1938 in Barnesville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Arthur and Virginia Pittman Knight. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Cassidy in 1975 and her husband, Harold Alexander, Jr. in 2014; and two brothers, Richard and James Knight. Marilyn was a member of the E. Warren St. Church of Christ in Cadiz. She owned and operated EOhio.Net Internet Service in Cadiz, and was a self employed accountant. She enjoyed genealogy and keeping her family together. Surviving are her children: Deborah Sue Mills of St. Clairsville, Anita (Mike) Manbeck, Tom (Betty Satterfield) Poland, all of Cadiz, eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and her best friends and business partners, David and Keri Hoffer of Canton. Friends may call Tuesday, 5-8 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the E. Warren St. Church of Christ in Cadiz with Evangelist Tom Arnold officiating, assisted by Pastor John Kotsanos. Burial will follow at Longview Cemetery, New Athens.
