Marian Dennis

Marian Dennis, 81, of Cadiz, died Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz. She was born April 13, 1927 in Harrison County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Frances James (Frank) and Martha Bernice Ramsey Porter. Marian was a retired employee of the Harrison County Home, a member of the Moravian Trail Chapter of the DAR, the Ourant School Committee, and the Harrison County Humane Society. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harold Raymond Dennis in 1957; a grandson, Jeremy Rose; and two sisters, Maxine Snode and Betty Keyser. Surviving are her daughter, Delane Gallion and her husband Terry of Bidwell, Ohio; two great grandchildren, Justin and Jessica Rose; and two sisters, Janice Yeager of New Philadelphia and Kay Singer of Louisville. Friends may call Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where funeral services will be held Friday, August 15, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Al Hoder officiating.
