Margaret Joan White

Margaret Joan White, 75, of Cadiz, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 1, 2023 at Claymont Health and Rehab in Uhrichsville, Ohio. She was born April 21, 1948 in Martins Ferry, Ohio a daughter of the late Floyd and Martha A. Christian White.

She worked for the Veterans Administration in Cleveland for over 30 years and was the Supervisor of Records. She was a member of St. James A.M.E. Church in Cadiz where she was in the Youth Choir.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her brothers: Floyd, George and Everett White.

Surviving are her brother, Harvey Nelson White of Cadiz; sisters-in-law: Diana White of Cadiz and Pearl White of Columbus; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews; and her care giver and very dear friend, Drema Porter.  

Per her request, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. The family is being assisted by Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio.
