Margaret Tabacchi

Margaret Tabacchi, 91, Cadiz, died Friday, September 19, 2009. She was born November 10, 1917, the first child born in Duncanwood, Ohio to the late Michael and Elizabeth Torok Bertz. Mrs. Tabacchi was a member of Scott United Methodist Church and various Women's Church Circles in Cadiz, Ohio. Mrs. Tabacchi was preceded in death in addition to her parents; by a daughter-in-law, Camille M. Tabacchi; 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Mrs. Tabacchi was the last living member in the Bertz family of Duncanwood, Ohio. Surviving are her husband John L. Tabacchi; a son John O. Tabacchi of Jewett; two granddaughters: Sara M. Bower and her husband David of Lewis Center, Ohio and Amelia G. Ryan and her husband Todd of Portland, Oregon; a number of nieces and nephews. Margaret was a caring, loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her love continues to live through her spirit. Calling hours are Monday, September 21, 2-4 and 7-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Scott United Methodist Church, 817 East Market Street, Cadiz with Rev. Richard Hasley officiating.
