Margaret H. Edwards, 87, of Dennison, formerly of Cadiz, Ohio, died Saturday, May 29, 2004 at Twin City Hospital, Dennison. She was born December 31, 1916 in Hopedale, OH, a daughter of the late Archer Fremont and Grace Schultz Hedges She was a member of Scott United Methodist Church, and was a past Worthy Matron of the Unionport Chapter 360, Order of the Eastern Star. In the late 1950's Mrs. Edwards helped to found what is now the MR DD Program in Harrison County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Quinn Edwards in 1997. Surviving are two sons, Dr. Charles Archer Edwards and his wife, Gloria of Woodsfield, and Daniel Joseph Edwards and his wife, Pamela of Sugar Creek; three grandchildren, Danielle Hamsher and her husband, Ryan, and Daylene and Grant Edwards. Friends may call Monday from 4-8 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Harry Milligan officiating. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery. An Eastern Star Service will be held Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to Scott United Methodist Church, 817 E.
