Margaret Dickerson

Margaret Dickerson, 91, of Cadiz, died Monday, May 4, 2015 at Community Hospice in New Philadelphia surrounded by her family. She was born August 25, 1923 in Bannock, Ohio a daughter of the late George and Mary Rickwalder Staso. She was a housewife and was a member of Scott United Methodist Church in Cadiz. She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, John Harry Dickerson in 1999; five brothers: John, Joseph, Andrew, Emro, and Mike Staso; and two sisters, her twin sister, Elizabeth Prevot and Helen Maleyrick. She is survived by 2 daughters: Marie Wilson of Cadiz and Mary Rothel and her husband Mark of New Philadelphia; a grandson, John Wilson of Cadiz and a granddaughter, Rebekah Rothel of New Philadelphia; a special buddy, Jon Little of Scio; two sisters-in-law, Anne Root and Helen Milliken; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, May 6 from 2-4 and 6-8 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where funeral service will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jon Little officiating. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice House, 716 Commercial Ave., SW, New Philadelphia, OH 44663-9367.
