Margaret Christian

Margaret J. Christian, 83, of Cadiz, died Thursday at the Valley Hospice Care Center, North in Steubenville. She was born October 10, 1929 in Short Creek Twp., Harrison County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Clyde (Sr.) and Elizabeth Davis Williams. Mrs. Christian was a member and former Trustee at St. James A.M.E. Church in Cadiz. She was a retired Bus Driver and Aid at Harcatus Head Start in Cadiz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers Clyde (Jr.) and Charles Williams. Surviving are her husband of over 50 years, Milton Christian; a son, Kirk Christian of Dallas, TX; a step-son, Craig Christian of Cadiz; two daughters, Vesta Renee (Michael) Banks and Greta Jo Christian, all of Cadiz; three grandchildren; one great granddaughter; a number of step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; a sister, Elizabeth (Betty) West of Cadiz; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. Friends may call Saturday, January 26 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at St. James A.M.E. Church, Cadiz. Rev. William Lewis will officiate.
