She was born September 7, 1927 in Harrison Co., Ohio a daughter of the late Clarence C. and Sadie Ellen Lindon Johnson. She was a homemaker and Methodist by faith. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers: Robert and Loren Johnson. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Oliver Young; 2 sons: Barry Young, Doylestown, Ohio and William Young, Laurelville, Ohio; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Calling hours are Tuesday from noon until time of service at 2:00 p.m., at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, with Pastor Jeremy Wood officiating. Burial follows at Fairview Cemetery, Jewett, Ohio.
