Linda Berard

Linda Sue Krankovich Berard, 66, of Cadiz, died Monday, May 24, 2016 at her home following a lengthy illness. She was born November 8, 1949 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a daughter of the late Daniel and Martha "Betty" Manbeck Krankovich. Linda enjoyed dancing and visiting Sally Buffalo Park, her parents in Cadiz, and her children in Tennessee and West Virginia. She worked in cleaning and food service at the Carriage Inn, cleaned offices and worked as a seamstress near Tippecanoe. When she was young, she attended church at the First Church of Christ in Cadiz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and William Krankovich and a sister, Rose Krankovich. Surviving are a son, Samuel Rudd of Lewisburg, WV; a daughter, Christine Rudd of Pigeon Forge, TN; four grandchildren, Leslie Susan Rudd, Autumn Renee Rudd, Aaron David Spence and Andrew Trentham; a brother, Daniel Krankovich of Belpre, OH; and four sisters, Kay Martin, Mary Ann Ferriera, Donna Volan, and Martha (Roy "Buck") Gatts, all of Cadiz. A memorial service will be held on a future date to be announced.
