Laura Ann "Cookie" Case

Laura A. “Cookie” Dombroski Case, 56, of Cadiz, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at her home. She was born April 10, 1968, in Bellaire, Ohio a daughter of the late Larry “Hose” and Pamela McLaughlin Dombroski, Sr.

In her earlier years, Cookie worked as a cook at the former Dove restaurant in Bloomingdale, Ohio. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing, camping and art and crafts. Whenever you went to visit her, you would always find her doing some kind of craft. Most of all she loved her family and spending time with them. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her siblings: Larry “Duber” Dombroski, Jr., Ronald Lee Dombroski, Rita Dagan and Nellie Jo, and her husband, Alex Lishick; and her boyfriend, Mark E. Bates.

Surviving are her children: Lee Thomas (Kourtney) Dombroski, Heidi (Tim) Davis, Lucas Bates and Dustin Bates; grandchildren, Lee “Bubby” Dombroski, Baylee Kinkus, Emily Davis, Landson Davis, Savanah Bates and Dakota Price; 2 brothers: Randy “Banjo” Dombroski and Danny “Pup” Dombroski, and many nieces and nephews. 

Per her request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family is being assisted by Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio.
