Laurence C. "Larry" Williams, Sr., 65, of Cadiz died Thursday, September 3, 2015 at the Carriage Inn of Cadiz. He was born July 24, 1950 in Wheeling, WV, a son of the late Clyde Leroy Williams, Jr. and the late Frieda May Williams Walker. He retired from ODOT as a Certified State Inspector. He was also a former heavy equipment operator for R&F Coal and Oxford Mining and a State Certified Blaster; a former employee of J&J Refuse; a sulky driver throughout the area; and was a member of the First Apostolic Church and Harrison Hills United Pentecostal Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Jean Williams and by a granddaughter, Aleesia DeMalio. Surviving are his wife, Regina Banks Williams, 2 sons: Larry, Williams, Jr. of Cadiz and Denver (Mandi) Williams of Hartford, CT; three daughters, Lori Ann (Dave) DeMalio of Weirton, Carrie Lorraine (Larry) Magaoay of South Carolina, and Devon (John) Feddo of Massachusetts; thirteen grandchildren; a great grandson; three brothers: Clyde Lester (Carman) Banks of Cadiz, Clyde Williams, III of Smithfield and Dale (Vanessa) Williams of Cleveland; and a host of stepbrothers and stepsisters and other family members. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 6-8 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Harrison Hills United Pentecostal Church, Jewett with Rev Philip Spellman officiating. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery.
