Keith Jett Frashure was born July 15, 1937 in Harrisville, Ohio, son of the late Carson "Pinky" and Irene Jett Frashure. Keith was a dedicated husband and father, survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty June Leslie Frashure; a daughter Lisa Ann Frashure, her husband Bob Rusinko and a daughter Audra Lynn Frashure, all of Port St. Lucie, Florida. He is also survived by a sister Myrna (Jim) Keyser; a brother Monte (Esther) Frashure, all from Cadiz, Ohio; a sister Sandy (Art) McFadden of Tennessee. In addition to his parents, Keith was proceeded in death by sisters, Shirley Frashure and Carol Jones of Cadiz, Ohio. Keith was a longtime employee of Consolidation Coal Company of Cadiz, Ohio and retired from St. Lucie County Mosquito Control in Florida in 2003. Keith was a proud veteran of the United States Army and was honored to be chosen to participate in the 2016 Honor Flight to Washington, DC. Keith is most known for his 20 plus years of coaching Little League, Hot Stove, Babe Ruth and Legion baseball in Harrison County, Ohio. He was an active member of the White City United Methodist Church in White City, Florida. Keith enjoyed watching sports of all kinds and was an avid Ohio State Football fan. He loved outdoor activities including fishing, fish fries and anything sports related. Keith found joy in spending time with his family and his "extended family" and never met a stranger. He enjoyed being with his canine buddy, Dobie and his feathered friend, Rocky. A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. James AME Church, 300 E Market Street, Cadiz, Oh with the Reverend Craig A. Smith officiating.
