Kathryn Mickey

Kathryn A. Mickey, 53, of Hopedale, Ohio, formerly of Columbus, Ohio, died Tuesday at Trinity Medical Center, West, Steubenville, Ohio, the result of an automobile accident. She was born May 20, 1949 in Gallapolis, Ohio a daughter of the late Vernon and Mary Davis Leffler. She was a Letter Carrier, serving Route 4, Cadiz, Ohio for the United State Post Office. She was a member and Trustee of the Hopedale United Presbyterian Church. She graduated from Pleasantview High School in Columbus; and was a former Clerk for German Twp. in Harrison County. She was a former member of the Ohio State Trustees and Clerks Association and a former Letter Carrier Instructor. She is survived by her husband, Calvin Mickey; 2 sons, Bryan and his wife, Stephanie Mickey of Flushing, OH and William and his wife, Lori of Damascus, OH; 3 grandchildren, Samantha, Austin and Campbell Mickey; 1 brother, Robert Leffler of Plain City, Ohio; 2 sisters, Marilyn Reese of Brandon, FL and Joanne Nichols of Columbus. Friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, where Funeral Services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Stanley Dickerson officiating.
