Kathern "Kay" Snyder

Kathern “Kay” Schleicher Snyder, 73, of Cadiz, Ohio, died Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, Ohio. She was born March 30, 1947 in Wheeling, West Virginia a daughter of the late Charles Kenneth and Leona Nora Davia Leigh.

She was member of the Church of Christ and a Nurse performing her skills in several states.

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents; by her husband, John Snyder; her son, Robert W. “Boe” Schleicher, Jr.; and 3 brothers: Calvin, Charles and Ronald Leigh.

Surviving are her son Kenneth Schleicher of  San Diego, California; a daughter, Krisila Kay “Krissy” Schleicher of Hubert, North Carolina; Grandchild, Andrew Van; and a great grandchild, Cali Ann.

Friends and family have been gathering at her house to share stories and memories. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family is being assisted by Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio.

Kay was the life of the party, always laughing and making people laugh. She never met a stranger and helped anyone who needed her.
