Joyce L. Jones

Joyce L. Jones, 82, of Cadiz, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023 at Country Club Retirement Center in Dover, Ohio. She was born April 14, 1941 in Martins Ferry, Ohio a daughter of the late Willam Bruce Franklin Davenport and Mary Elizabeth Perry Davenport.

Joyce was a graduate of Hopedale High School and then received her Dietary Certificate and went on to be the Dietary Manager for Harrison Hills City School District.

She was preceded in death in addition to her husband, Gary R. Jones; by a grandson, Daniel Jones; and her siblings: Lois (Preach) Davenport, Garnet Davenport, Geneva (Neva) Davenport-Neer and Helen Davenport-Eckley.

Surviving are her 2 sons: Brian (Lisa) Jones of Greenville, South Carolina and Steve (Stacy) Jones of Denton, Texas; grandchildren: Liana (Daniel) Anderson, Derrick (Dani) Jones, Cole Jones and Eric (Mae) Jones; and a great grandson, Harrison Jones.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. with Paul Giffin at Greenwood Cemetery, Hopedale, Ohio. The family is being assisted by Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio.
