Joseph Ulysses Perry, 86, born and raised in Cadiz, OH, formerly of Akron, died Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Mulberry Gardens in Munroe Falls, OH. He was born November 21, 1924, a son of the late Arnold W. and Marjorie Cariens Perry. Joe was a retired Projectionist and Business Agent for The Akron Projectionist Union Local 364 IATSE. He was a member of Scott United Methodist Church, the Cadiz Lions Club, the Cadiz American Legion, Harrison Lodge 219, F. & A.M., Scottish Rite, Valley of Steubenville. He was a Navy Veteran of WW II, and served on PT Boat 522 in the Pacific Theatre. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Ann Ruckstuhl Perry in 1986; his second wife, Emily Wenner Harmon Perry in 1995; and his third wife Martha Shira Andrew Perry in 2010; and brother Arnold C. Perry. Surviving are two sons, Christian Lee (Kathy) Perry of Tallmadgeand John Arnold Perry of Akron; granddaughter, Jenna Maria Perry of Mayfield Heights, OH and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday, 4-8 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where funeral services will be held Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 11:00 a.m.with Rev. Richard Hasley officiating. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Cadiz American Legion.
