Joseph �Dogg� Randall McConnell, 53, Norwalk, formerly of New Athens, Ohio died Saturday, February 6, 2010. He was born June 28, 1956 in Wheeling, West Virginia a son of the late Chemist (Sonny) and Charlotte Saffell McConnell. He was a truck driver for Jack Cooper Trucking out of Sheffield, Ohio; a member of the teamsters union; enjoyed music, hunting, fishing and loved being with his friends and family. He is survived by his wife Karen Logsdon McConnell of Norwalk; 3 sons: Jason of Maynard, Bryan of Texas, and Logan of the home; his father, Gordon Hyust; 3 brothers: Ray McConnell of West Virginia, Robert McConnell of Avon Lake, and Joe Hyust (Zoe Arnold) of New Athens; a sister, Rhonda (Mike) Kutttie of New Athens; and 4 grandchildren: Haley, Maddox, Riley, and Braylon. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2-4 and 6-8 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Al Hoder officiating. Burial will follow at Longview Cemetery, New Athens, Ohio.
