Joseph G. Jimison, 84, of Cadiz, died Sunday, July 31, 2005 at Select Mercy Medical Center, Canton, Ohio. He was born Feb. 1, 1921 in Shamokin, PA, a son of the late Joseph T. And Emma Davis Jimison. He was a member of Scott United Methodist Church, was a graduate of Wilkes College. He was a retired surveyor with Hanna and Consolidation Coal Companies and a member of the Engineering Society. He was an Army Veteran of WW II. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Kathie Jimison. His wife, Ruby D. Jimison, died January 20, 2007. Surviving two sons, Don Jimison of Sugar Creek, OH and David Jimison and his wife Cynthia of Athens; a daughter, Sandra Hollingsworth of Orange Park, FL; seven grandchildren; two foster grandchildren; four great grandchildren; five foster great grandchildren; and two sisters, Virginia Williams of Orange Park, FL and Frances Lundy of Tampa, FL. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home Cadiz, where memorial services will be held Thursday, January 25, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Richard Hasley officiating.
