John Mcgill

John Alexander McGill, 85, of Cadiz, Ohio, formerly of Youngstown, Ohio, died October 27, 2001 at the Carriage Inn of Cadiz. He was born May 11, 1916 in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of the late John A. McGill, Sr. and Laura Miller McGill. He was a member of the First Church of Christ of Cadiz. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Ruffner McGill in 2000; 3 brothers, Harold, Robert, and George McGill; 4 sisters, Angie Gillespie, Thelma Aaron, Dorothy Ruffner, and Edna Allen. Surviving are 2 sons, John McGill of MI, and Robert Sadler of MS; 4 daughters, Shirley McKimmy of OH, Leah Miller of NY, Pat Wasmund of NY and Jackie Collier of Cadiz, OH; 12 grandhchildren; 10 grandchildren; and 1 sister, Shirley Mort of Niagara Falls, NY. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2001 at the First Church of Christ, 139 North Main St., Cadiz, Ohio 43907 with David Collier officiating. Memorial Contributions may be made to his church.
