John Kerwood

John ''J.B.'' Kerwood, 53, of Bowerston, formerly of Jewett, died Monday, December 19, 2005 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz. He was born April 4, 1952 in Zanesville, Ohio a son of Beatrice Raber Kerwood of Jewett, and the late Ross Kerwood, Sr. J.B. was a disabled construction worker, and was a former employee of Harmony Industries of Mingo Jct., OH and the Scio Pottery Co. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ross, Jr., and by his step-father, John Cothran. Surviving in addition to his mother, are his wife, Darlene DeGarmo Kerwood, a daughter, Dawn (Lito) Morales-Angel of Jewett; a son Shayne Kerwood of Youngstown; four grandchildren, Jalisha, Rashaen, Gianna and Isabella; four brothers, Charles of Cleveland, Samuel (M.J.) of Scio, Craig of Scio, and Jerry (Shelly) of Jewett; four sisters, Beatrice Lewis of Warren, OH, Dorothy Kerwood of Jewett, Sara (Carl) Goodrich of Cadiz, and Diane (Bob) Hilbert of Jewett; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday, Dec. 23, 2005 from 2 until time of Memorial Service at 4:00 p.m. and Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005 from 10 until time of Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz. Rev. Jack Klinesmith and Joel Ignace will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Hopedale, Ohio. Online condolences may be made at www.clark-kirkland.com.
