John J. Hanlon, 84 of Deersville, died Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Trinity Twin City Hospital in Dennison, Ohio. He was born April 14, 1930 in Nottingham Township, Harrison County, Ohio a son of the late William and Martha Nichols Hanlon. He spent his life as a owner/operator truck driver until his retirement for health issues in 1995. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, William Charles "Chuck" Hanlon; and a brother, David Kent. He is survived by his wife Phyllis Price Hanlon; 2 daughters: Pam (Kevin) Wallace of Deersville and Debbie (Frank) Hedtke of Deersville; 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
