John Gammeter

John R. Gammeter, 66, of Port Charlotte, FL, formerly of Cadiz, died Friday, September 30, 2011 at Charlotte Harbor, Port Charlotte, FL. He was born October 20, 1944 in Columbus, Ohio, a son of the late W. Keith and Helen Finnical Gammeter. Mr. Gammeter was a former employee of R. & F. Coal Company in Cadiz and was the owner and operator of Gammeter Power Equipment in Cadiz. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Gammeter. Surviving are his wife, Judy Milligan Gammeter; a son Andrew Gammeter of Port Charlotte, FL; and several cousins. Friends may call Thursday, October 6, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz. Robert Glover will officiate.
