John Carrel

John R. "Rick" Carrel, 54, of Cadiz, died Monday October 11, 2010 at his home. Rick was born April 1, 1956 a son of the late John L. and Eleanor Brown Carrel. Rick was a clerk at the Cadiz Post Office and a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy. Rick is survived by his wife Jill Horkey Carrel, 2 sons: Rick Carrel of Columbus and Daniel Carrel of West Liberty, West Virginia; a daughter: Zettie Carrel of Pittsburgh; 2 sisters: Robin ( David) Reynolds of Cadiz and Ronda Carrel of New Philadelphia; 3 stepdaughters: Tayna Rhody of Washington, Pa., Wendy (Bob) Wick of Chardon, Ohio, and Amy (Greg) Burtin of Tuscon, Az; a stepgranddaughter Amya Burtin; and his faithful companion Bella. Calling hours will be Wednesday, October 13 from 6-8 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio. Private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment at Cadiz Union Cemetery.
