John Edwin Beatty

John Edwin Beatty, 69, of Steubenville, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, Ohio after a short illness. He was born July 10, 1954 in Weirton, West Virginia a son of the late Edwin Eugene and Anna Rosaleen Brannon Beatty.

John retired from Weirton Steel. He enjoyed working with his tools building and fixing things and working on cars and trucks.

He was preceded in death in addition to his parents; by a son, David Beatty.

He is survived by his sister, Donna Beatty; his niece, Tanya Boyd and his great nephew, Lane Weaver.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio. A graveside service will be held immediately after visitation and 3:00 p.m. at Greewood Cemetery, Hopedale with Rev. Pete Tuchek officiating.
