Jess Manbeck, Jr.

Jess Sheldon Manbeck, Jr., 77, of Cadiz, died Saturday, February 10, 2007 at Trinity Medical Center, West, Steubenville, Ohio. He was born December 6, 1929 in Green Twp., Harrison Co, Ohio, a son of the late Jess and Anna Baker Manbeck. He was a retired truck driver in the coal industry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his companion, Eleanor (Betty) Melville; a sister, Martha Krankovich; and three brothers, Charles, William and Woodrow Manbeck. Surviving are Jeff, April and Jake Goodwin of New Philadelphia, Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews and their families of the Cadiz area. Friends may call Monday from two until time of service at 4:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz. Paul Giffen will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Hopedale.
