Etta Jean Williams, 88, of Cadiz, died Friday, February 27, 2009 at Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born February 17, 1921 in Flushing, Ohio, a daughter of the late Paul M. and Evangeline Jackson Tyler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Raphael Blanchard; her second husband, Clyde L. Williams, Jr.; a son, Harold Fletcher; and four brothers, Harold, Frank, Raymond and Norman Tyler. Surviving are four sons, Allen Blanchard of Bridgeport, Gary Blanchard of Flushing, Bill Blanchard of Cadiz and Larry Blanchard of Columbus; two daughters, Sandra Taylor of Cadiz and Bonnie Patterson of St. Clairsville; twenty four grandchildren; thirty nine great grandchildren; a great great grandchild; a brother, Jack Tyler of Blaine, Ohio; two sisters, Dolores Wise of Columbus and Betty Lewis of Springfield; four step-sons, Clyde Lester Banks and Larry Williams, both of Cadiz, Clyde L. Williams, III of Smithfield and Dale Williams of S.Euclid; fifteen step grandchildren and several step great grandchildren. Friends may call Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Michael Tolliver officiating.
