James Gamble, Sr.

James L. Gamble, Sr., 63 of Cadiz, died Friday April 13, 2012 at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, Ohio. He was born September 18, 1948 in Jewett , Ohio a son of the late John and Clara Constance Engler Gamble, Sr. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during the Vietnam era. He was preceded in death in addition to his parents, by a brother John Gamble, Jr., and 2 sisters: Ida Bice and Connie Swope. He is survived by his wife Vera Kasarda Gamble; 2 sons: James, Jr. of Adena and Tom and his wife Stacy of Tappan Lake; a brother, Robert Gamble of Indiana; 2 sisters: Mary Campbell and her husband Jerry of Cadiz and Betty Gamble of North Carolina; and a number of nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, April 17 from noon until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery.
