James Bethel

November 29, 1960 — March 17, 2016

James Bethel, 55, of Cadiz, died Thursday at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz. He was born November 29, 1960, a son of the late Kenneth Bethel and the late Emma Virginia McIntyre Bethel Flaherty. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Bethel and his step-father, James Flaherty. Surviving are three brothers, Robert Flaherty of Carrollton, Leonard Bethel of Scio and Gary Bethel of Flushing; a sister, Nancy Williston of Cadiz; a number of step-brothers and step-sisters; and a number of nieces and nephews. A graveside services will be held Monday, March 21 at 2:30 p.m. at the Harrison County Cemetery, U.S. 250 West near Cadiz. Rev. Mark Smith will officiate. Arrangements are by Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz.
