Jack Spry, 80, of Cadiz, formerly of Toronto, Ohio, died Friday, December 6, 2013 at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry. He was born July 28, 1933 in Memphis, Texas, a son of the late Fred Bradford and Frankie Pearl Hodge Spry. Jack was a retired Boiler Technician for Ohio Edison at the Toronto Power Plant. He was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the Cadiz American Legion, and the Toronto and Cadiz Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was a life member of the Toronto VFW. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, James V. and David A. Spry. Surviving are his wife, Donna Miller Spry; three sons, Bobby Jack (Brittany) Nobles of Manor, TX, Jimmy Wesley (Kathy) Nobles of Pflugerville, TX, and Kevin Bradford (Erna) Nobles of Greencastle, IN; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; two step-daughters, Jean Rae Lawrence of Cadiz and Tonia Renee Lawrence of Toronto, a step-son, Reed Louis (Christy) Johnson of Toronto; and two brothers, Thomas (Ginger) Spry and James Donald (Kay) Spry, all of Austin, TX. Friends may call Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 8:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, 172 S. Main St., Cadiz, OH. Pastor Raul Diaz will officiate.
