Jack A. Hamilton, 60, of Piedmont, Ohio, died Saturday, June 28, 2008 at his home. He was born August 3, 1947 in Washington, PA, a son of the late Rev. Paul and Wanda Cook Hamilton. Mr. Hamilton was the founder and President of Jack A. Hamilton and Associates, Inc. in Flushing, Ohio. He was a Navy Veteran of the Viet Nam Era. He belonged to professional surveying organizations in Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Kentucky, and was a member of the Flushing Area Ruritans, the Flushing American Legion, and the Freeport VFW. He enjoyed scuba diving, and was a member of the Guernsey County Underwater Rescue Organization. Surviving are his wife, Jeanette Zimmerman Hamilton; two sons, Paul and his wife, Rachel Hamilton of Flushing and David Hamilton of Piedmont; two grandchildren Justin and Molly; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call Tuesday, 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, 172 S. Main St., Cadiz, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at The House of the Shepherd, 125 Culbertson Dr., New Athens, Ohio, with Rev. Dean Lancaster officiating. Friends may call at the church from 10-11. Burial will follow at Longview Cemetery, New Athens.
