Inez Bailey

Inez W. Bailey, 82, of Cadiz, died Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz. She was born December 1, 1928 in Smithfield, Ohio, a daughter of the late Everett and Stella Ankrom. Mrs. Bailey was a retired employee of Scio Pottery Co., and a member of Scott United Methodist Church. She was an avid supporter of the Cadiz Lions Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three husbands, Calvin Wilson in 1985, Dr. Eugene Evans in 1996 and Harry Bailey in 2001; a son, Victor Wilson in 1990; three sisters, Martha, Edna and Helen; and two brothers, Ralph and Tom. Surviving are a son, Cliff (Elaine) Wilson of Fleming, GA; a daughter-in-law, Jill Aldridge of Canton, OH; six grandchildren: Duane and Spencer Wilson, Renee Rodriguez, Lee, Donna and Michael Bowles; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; two brothers, Jay Ankrom of Carrollton and Richard Ankrom of Scio; two sisters, Doris Birney of Jewett and Jean Davia of Unionvale; step-children, Hal, Sue Evans and Kay Reed; and dear friends and neighbors, Ron and Sandy Barnhart. Friends may call Tuesday, 6-8 and Wednesday, 10-11 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ruby Foutz and Rev. Richard Hasley officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 525 N. Broad St., Canfield, OH 44406.
