Homer Fields, 64, Freeport, Ohio, died Sunday, August 11, at his home. He was born August 25, 1937 in Northkenova, Ohio a son of the late Charles E. and Anna Fields. Homer was a retired machinist having worked at Pioneer Plastics in Green, Ohio and was a member of the Lakeland Parish of the United Methodist Church in Smyrna, Ohio. He also served in the United States Army having served during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife Anita Thompson Fields; a son Mark of the home; 2 daughters: Arlene and her husband Tom Brindley of North Canton and Ann and her husband Ron Williams of West Lafayette, Ohio; 7 grandchildren; 2 brothers: Donald Fields, Freeport and Charles Fields of Florida; and a sister, Ann Baird of Bowling Green, Kentucky. Calling hours are Friday from 4:00 until time of service at 6:00 p.m., at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, officiated by Rev. James Barcus.
