Henry Romshak, 90, of Cadiz, died Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at the Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz. He was born June 30, 1917 in Maynard, Ohio, a son of the late John and Anna Cermak Romshak. He was a retired mechanic, having worked over 35 years at the Y. & O. Coal Co. Nelms # 1 Mine. He was a life member of the MEMMA, a member of the UMWA, the Cadiz FOE, Aerie 2162 and the Cadiz American Legion, Post 34. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Irene Goodman Romshak; three brothers, John, Rudy and Carl Romshak; and a sister, Ann Carrico. Surviving are three sons, William, Ronald and Darrell Romshak; two daughters, Dar and Trena Romshak, all of Cadiz; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Judy McAninch of Ocala, FL and Helen Harris of Cadiz; and a brother, Fred Romshak of Flushing. Friends may call Thursday from 5-9 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Richard Hasley officiating.
