Harry E. Gordon, 59, Cadiz, died Tuesday, April 19, 2005 at Oakland Veterans Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennyslvania. He was born June 9, 1945 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a son of Evelyn Henry Gordon of Cadiz and the late Ernest Gordon. He was a former employee of Consol and retired from State Park Motors in Wintersville; a veteran of the U.S. Air Force; a member of the Eagles Aerie #2162, Cadiz where he was a past president and was a past state officer; a member of the Cadiz American Legion Post #34 where he was past commander and a member of the 40 and 8; and a Methodist by faith. He was preceded in death in addition to his father, by a sister Sylvia Beach. He is survived by his wife, Linda Chittenden Gordon of Cadiz; 2 sons: Tim Gordon and his wife Cheryl of Cadiz and Sam Gordon of the home; 3 daughters: Kim Conrad and her husband Mike of Cadiz, Pam Tuckosh and husband Robert of Kilgore; and Roberta Cologie and her husband Joe, Jr. of Cadiz; Grandchildren: Miranda Gordon, Jordan and Aaron Ledger, Heather, Scott and Aaron Conrad, Zackary and Nickolas Tuckosh, and Kristina and Logan Cologie; and a brother, Harvey Gordon and his wife Linda of Cadiz. Calling hours are Friday, April 22, 2-4 and 7-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where funeral service will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. with Dean Blythe officiating. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery with full military honors by the Cadiz American Legion. Eagle services will be held Friday at 6:45 p.m. in the funeral home.
