Harry E. ''Ted'' Carney, 60, of Jewett, Ohio formerly of Cadiz, Ohio, died Thursday, March 6, 2008 at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born March 12, 1947 in Glendale, West Virginia, a son of the late Harry Melvin and Florence Thomas Carney. Ted was a self employed, owner-operator truck driver and an avid motor cycle rider. Surviving are his wife, Amy Pollom Carney; two sons, Harry Eugene Carney, Jr. (Kim) of Harrisville and Thomas Wayne Carney at home; three daughters, Tammy White (Marvin Hoagland) of Midvale, Meri Carney of Mentor on the Lake; Wendy Carney of Belmont; two stepsons, Matthew and Gary Cromley at home; fourteen grandchildren; a brother, Mark Carney of Moundsville; two sisters, Pearl Monroe of Mingo Jct. and Norma Jean Carney of Butler, PA.
