Harold "Pat" Case

Harold “Pat” Case, 96, of Hopedale, passed away on October 2, 2023, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was born October 2, 1927, in Hopedale, Ohio a son of the late Hartzell and Frances E. Hall Case.

Pat was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He was a millright and retired steel worker. He was a Methodist by faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia Graham Case; a stepson, Harold “Sonny” William Schrickel, Jr.; siblings: Louise Cox, Jane Ann Cox, Peggy Maffitt, Bill Case, Ed Case and Jim Case.  

Surviving are his wife, Sue Lenko Schrickel Case; 2 daughters: Linda (Kevin) Costello and Alice (Bob) Hirschbach; step-daughters Becky (Biddy) Irvin and Bette (Sonny) Schrickel; grandchildren: Lana Kemp, Laura Fuscardo, Dirk Harkins, Shawn Harkins, Trish Satterfield, and Rose Halverson; 12 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.  

Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, Hopedale, with Rev. Ashley Steele officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Hopedale American Legion. The family is being assisted by Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio.
