Glen A. Best

Glen A. Best, 76, of Cadiz, passed away Monday, October 23, 2023 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania after a short illness. Glen was born October 8, 1947 in Harrison County,  a son of the late Earcel and Laura Thompson Best, Sr.

Glen was retired from ODOT and a lifelong farmer.

He was preceded in death in addition to his parents; by a son Glen Richard Best, a daughter, Glynda Alexander and siblings: Earcel Best, Jr., Patricia Criswell and Carol DiLoreto.

Surviving are his 2 sons: Matthew Best of New Hampshire and Martin Best of Lore City; 3 grandsons: Andy, Nicholas and Matthew Best; a great grandson; siblings: Wilma Dobbins of Smithfield, Arthur Best of Hartville, John Best of Jewett, Christine Jenkins of Leesville and Tammy Jenkins of Cadiz, Ohio.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz with Dean Blythe and Rev. Pete Tuchek officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Hopedale, Ohio.
