Geri Oklok Hare, 71, Wilmington, North Carolina, formerly of Hopedale, died Friday, February 18, 2011 in Wilmington. She was born March 28, 1939 in Cadiz, a daughter of the late Spirio Oklok and Mildred Oklok Blagovich. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents, by 2 brothers Nicholas and Mike Oklock, a sister Lucille Popovich; and her companion of 24 years Robert. Thompson. She is survived by 2 daughters: Kerri Johnson and her husband Joe of Hopedale and Lotti Teachey of Wilmington; her grandchildren who were the special loves of her life, Nicholas and Madison Teachey of Wilmington and Kendall and Kelsi Johnson of Hopedale; a sister Elizabeth (William) Rowland, Lansing Ill; 3 brothers: George (Helen) Oklok of Upper Sandusky, Bob (Carol) Oklok of Wintersville, and Samuel Blagovich of Hopedale; sister-in-law Mary Ann Oklok of Weirton; numerous nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, February 23, from 6-8 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home where funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. R.J. Leek officiating.
