Genevieve Pearl Booth, 92, of Cadiz, died Wednesday at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry. She was born March 1, 1912 in Mannington, WV, a daughter of the late Alva O. and Alice M. Roupe Gray. She was a member of the First Church of Christ in Cadiz and the Harrison County Grange. She served as a volunteer at Harrison Community Hospital and the House of Coal in Cadiz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles (Nick) Booth in 1982; a brother, William Gray; 2 sisters, Goldie B. Barrett and Mary E. Covey; and a granddaughter, Debbie Arlene Booth. Surviving are a son, Max and his wife, Marjorie Booth; a daughter, Dot and her husband, Riley Cassell, all of Cadiz; a sister, Ada Hoy of Mannington, WV; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where funeral services will be held Friday, June 18, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. with Ken Swelbar officiating.
