Frances Ossman

***NOTE CHANGE OF FUNERAL LOCATION*** Frances I. Ossman, 86, Cadiz, died Sunday, February 6, 2011 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, Ohio. She was born March 10, 1924 in Byesville, Ohio a daughter of the late Emroy and Frances Imler Montgomery. When she was young, she was a telephone operator in Dayton, Ohio. She was a former Sunday School Teacher at the First Apostolic Church in Cadiz and a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling and visited family all over the country, but loved having family in her home. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents, by her husband William B. Ossman, Jr., a grandson Lucas Hendricks, daughter-in-law Carol Ossman and son-in-law John Ladd. Surviving are 8 sons: William (Dori) III of Lancaster, Ronald (Sandra) of Greer, South Carolina, Douglas of Jewett, Russell (Barbara) of Akron, Daniel (Sheree) of Cadiz, John (Sylvia) of Phoenix, Arizona, David (Amy) and Scott (Katherine) all Cadiz; 2 daughters: Linda (Gary) Hendricks of Lakeland, Florida and Pam Ladd of Clermont, Florida; 21 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; 2 brothers: Jim (Joann) Montgomery of Toronto and Ed (Ada) Montgomery of Florida; 3 sisters: Esther (Howard) Bell of Wintersville, Virginia Harris of Toronto, and Dorothy (Lou) DelGallo of Mingo Junction, Ohio. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, February 9 from 4-9 at Clark-Kirkland funeral Home, Cadiz. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 12:30 p.m. at HARRISON HILLS UNITED PENTECOSTAL CHURCH, 87800 Cadiz-Jewett Rd., Jewett, Ohio with Rev. Harold Hoffman officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio. The memorial guestbook may be signed at www.clark-kirkland.com.
