Floyd Mercer, Jr.

Floyd T. Mercer, Jr., 48 of Jewett, OH, formerly of Georgetown, OH, died Monday at Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, WV. He was born May 8, 1964 in Bellaire, OH, a son of the late Floyd T. and Elinor Maxine Stewart Mercer, Sr. Floyd was a disabled laborer, and attended the Hanover United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Janette Coffield Mercer; a daughter, Tonya (Justin) Utter of Harrisville; a son, Justin (Sara Bell) Mercer of Jewett; three grandchildren, Angelina, Austin and Jaydean; five sisters, Patty Kochur of Harrisville, Sandra Mansfield of Cadiz, Lawanda Thomas of Dillonvale, Marsha (Jack) Mansfield of Cadiz and Donna (Mark) Ward of St. Clairsville. Friends may call Thursday, 1-3 and 5-7 at Clark -Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, where services will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Roger Zimmerman officiating.
