Florence Hayest

Florence "Bo" Hayest, 88, of Cadiz, died Monday, June 2, 2014 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz. She was born March 11, 1926 in Cadiz, Ohio, a daughter of the late Roy and Odessa Dickerson Thompson. Bo was a retired Ward Clerk from Harrison Community Hospital and a member of Scott United Methodist Church, where she was active in the Bethany Circle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry W. Hayest in 2006; an infant daughter, Joanna Kay Hayest; a brother, Kenneth "Jake" Thompson; and three sisters, Hilda Walker, Dorothy Liming and Doris McCann. Surviving are a son, Thomas (Brenda) Hayest of Gahanna; a daughter Beth (Robert) Swansboro of Cranberry Twp., PA; three grandchildren: Colin Swansboro of Pittsburgh, Allison (Kyle) Brooks of Westerville and Andrea Hayest of Gahanna. Friends may call Friday, 3-8 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, 172 S. Main St., Cadiz, Ohio 43907, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Richard Hasley officiating.
