Fern Pugh

Fern L Pugh, 83, Cadiz, died Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, Ohio. She was born October 30, 1922 in East Springfield, Ohio a daughter of the late Dr. W.R. and Madeline Frost Mills. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Cadiz; a graduate of the Ohio State University; President of the Cadiz Civic Club; Cadiz Garden Club; OSU Alumni Association; a former school teacher in New Philadelphia; a former secretary at the Ohio State University Optometry Department; and along with her husband operated his Optometry practice in Cadiz, Ohio. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Lewis G. Pugh; a son, William Ray Pugh and his wife Vicki of Quaker City, Ohio; 2 grandsons: W. Lewis Pugh and his wife Gina of Freeport and Ray Harrison of Woodford, Virginia. Calling hours are Friday, August 11, from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, with Rev. Dr. David Rice officiating.
