Eva D. Carson, 94, of Dover, Ohio, formerly of Cadiz, Ohio, died Monday, October 14, 2013 at Park Village Health Care Center, Dover. She was born October 19, 1918 in Harrison County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Floyd and Viola Moore Cramblett. Mrs. Carson was a homemaker who was known for her quilting skills. She was a founding member of the East Warren Street Church of Christ in Cadiz and is currently a member of the New Philadelphia Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Elmer L. Carson in 2009, and by two brothers, Wayne and Forrest Cramblett. Surviving are two sons, Gary (Rosemary) Carson of Chattanooga, TN and Bill (Pam) Carson of Knoxville, TN; a daughter, Marilyn (Denny) Wire of Dover, OH; seven grandchildren: Dawn Carson, Holly Krutza, Matt Carson, Jeff Wire, Amy Wire, Chad Carson and Mindy Nabors; and nine great grandchildren. Friends may call Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, 172 S. Main St., Cadiz, OH 43907. Evangelist Tim Hatfield will officiate.
