Ethel Stanco

Ethel Joann Stanco, 63, Hopedale, died Tuesday, August 14 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, Ohio. She was born May 7, 1938 in Wheeling, West Virginia a daughter of the late Victor H. and Mary Ethel Miller Householder. She was a department head for Carriage Inn of Cadiz. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents, by her husband, Michael Stanco in 1998; a son Robert Starkey; and a twin sister, Ellen Householder. She is survived by 3 Sons: George Starkey and his wife Roxane of Wintersville, William Starkey and his wife Diane of Harrisville, and Greg Starkey of Harrisville; 1 daughter: Vickie Rennicker and her husband Rick of Dennison, Ohio; a daughter in law, Lori Starkey, Colerain, Ohio; a stepson, James Stanco and his wife Jean of Apple Creek, Ohio; 2 Stepdaughters: Connie Springhetti and her husband Robert of Pittsburgh and Linda Sarkisian and her husband James, Kensington, MD; a brother Jerry Householder and his wife Janice of Harrisville; 15 grandchildren and 7 great granchildren. Calling hours are Thursday, August 16, 2-4 and 7-9 at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Clint Quillen officiating. Burial follows at Longview Cemetery, New Athens, Ohio.
