Esther Frashure

Esther Frashure, 86, of Cadiz, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at her home. She was born February 24, 1938 in Unionvale, Ohio a daughter of the late Samuel and Myrtle Thompson Kelley. 

Esther was the bookkeeper and accountant for the Shurfast Food Mart in Cadiz until her retirement. She was a member of the Cadiz Eagles Aerie #2162 Auxiliary and was an avid bowler until 2010. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, Monte P. Frashure on February 10, 2023; a great granddaughter, Bayli Diloreto and siblings: Don Kelley, Pearl Kellar, Erma Cunningham, Melvin Kelley, Ina Liszeski and Lorraine Kelley.

Surviving are her son, Scott (Susan Lewis) Cunningham of Cadiz; 2 granddaughters: Ashley (Brandon) Huffman of New Athens and Brittany Cunningham of Cadiz and a grandson, Wyatt Cunningham of Cadiz; 2 great granddaughters: Ava and Harper Huffman and a great grandson, Owen Diloreto of Cadiz, Ohio.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 16, from 11:00 a.m. until time of her funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland-Barr Funeral Home, Cadiz with Joyce Barr officiating. Burial will follow at Cadiz Union Cemetery. Cadiz Eagles Auxiliary Service will be held immediately before funeral service.
