Elsie Leeser

Elsie B. Leeser, 97 of Cadiz died Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Gable Care Center, Hopedale, Ohio. She was born March 13, 1916 in Bowerston, Ohio a daughter of the late Harold Eugene and Nina McGuire Bower. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Cadiz and was the former owner/operator of Leeser's Market in Cadiz. She was an avid sports fan. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents; by her husband, Maurice Leeser on September 19, 1992; and infant son, Gary and a brother, Robert Bower. She is survived by a son Charles (Nancy) Leeser of Massillion; a daughter Maurine (Robert) Huntsman of Cadiz; 6 grandchildren: Amy Gifford and Susan Kokensparger, Brent, Mike and Mark Huntsman and Kristie Positano; 11 great grandchildren; and a brother, Dean (Helen) Bower of Cadiz; and 2 sisters-in-law: Lavonne Dunlap and Naomi Trotter both of Cadiz, Ohio. Calling hours will be held Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church of Cadiz, 154 West Market Street, Cadiz, with Rev. R.J. Leek officiating. Burial will take place at Cadiz Union Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz, Ohio.
